Ronan works where law and art intersect. As a corporate and entertainment lawyer with Bell Alliance LLP in Vancouver, he advises artists, producers, and entrepreneurs on the structures that turn creative ideas into sustainable enterprises. His legal practice is grounded in clarity and problem-solving, the same discipline that drives his work with Tempest and behind the camera.

A filmmaker, cinematographer, and editor, Ronan’s work has screened at more than twenty international festivals (including the Montreal World Film Festival, Vancouver International Film Festival, Ibiza International Film Festival, Cayman Islands Film Festival, and the Manhattan Film Festival) and has been showcased on platforms such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Hulu. His background in editing and visual effects gives him a rare, end-to-end understanding of the filmmaking process and a sharp eye for efficiency, story, and image.

As co-founder of Tempest Theatre, Mutant Films, and Railtown Actors Studio, Ronan’s work bridges the creative and the structural, embodying imaginative impulse and the systems that support it. He is drawn to projects that challenge form and expectation, and to the belief that artistic and professional integrity are not opposing forces but different expressions of the same discipline: seeing clearly and building work that lasts.
