Connect With Yourself.
Do you hear the whisper of a voice inside that wants to be heard?
Over two evenings, this supportive and playful workshop invites you to explore the deep connection between body, breath, and voice as a pathway into writing and performance.
On the first evening, we will dive into somatic practices that awaken the imagination and unlock new creative impulses.
Through guided prompts, movement, and reflection, participants will generate original material rooted in sensation, image, and lived experience. Whether you are sparking a new passion or deepening an existing writing practice, this work will ignite your words from the inside out.
On the second evening, we shift from page to stage. Participants are invited to bring a piece of writing in any stage of development and explore how it lives in the body and voice. Through gentle coaching, feedback, and shared witnessing, we will build confidence and compassion as performers and creators.
Miriam’s somatic writing approach connects breath, body, and voice to language, strengthening the relationship between the written and spoken word. Together, we will explore how creative expression becomes more vivid, embodied, and alive when it moves through us fully.
