Kendra Anderson graduated from the Canadian College of Performing Arts in 2007, where she studied acting, singing and dance. It was there, she had the honour of training with Voice Instructor Dr. Iris MacGregor-Bannerman, and under her guidance, Kendra discovered the potency of voice work and a deeper, more meaningful access to her instrument.
Kendra went on to work as an actor in film, television, voice over and motion capture both in Vancouver and Toronto for 10 years. During this time, she continued to hone her craft at Railtown Actors Studio, studying with Kate Twa and John Cassini.
Kendra masterfully combines the teachings of Dr. Iris MacGregor-Bannerman, her work with Speech-Language Pathologist Shelagh Davies (vocal health and safety) and her 500hr certification in Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga to conduct a class that invites the body to open, builds stronger connectivity with the breath, and enables each student to find the power of their own voice.
